About | Project Aim | Teen Outreach Program (TOP) | Teen Speak for Parents

The Teen Outreach Program (TOP), created by Wyman, promotes the positive development of adolescents through curriculum-guided, interactive group discussions; positive adult guidance and support; and community service learning. TOP is focused on key topics related to adolescent health and development, including healthy relationships, communication, influence, goal-setting, decision-making, values clarification, community service learning, and adolescent development and sexuality.

TOP recognizes that:

Teens require active engagement, relevant knowledge, and skill building for both their development and to ensure participation in programs.

Sexuality information should contain factual, up-to-date and medically accurate information, including that abstinence is the safest, most-effective method to prevent pregnancy.

All people deserve respect, that parents and guardians are the primary sex-educators for their children, and that every family's values are important.
